What should I expect from the first consultation?2015-07-22T23:08:49+10:00
Please arrive 10min before your appointment, to allow adequate time for form completion and administration processing.  Please bring with you any scans and reports related to your condition.  On your first session if you present with more than one area of pain, we will assess, diagnose, and treat the area with the most pain.  A change of clothes is not required.  However, if you feel it will help with comfort and movement, please don’t hesitate to bring a different outfit.

Our sessions are long consultations, 40 minutes in duration.

Should I bring my scans and reports with me?2015-07-22T08:08:55+10:00

Yes, please bring with you all scans and reports related to your condition. These will assist the physiotherapist in their assessment.

Does each session include both consultation and therapy?2015-06-18T02:22:15+10:00

We endeavour to apply treatment therapy in every session, however, we only focus on one area per session.

Do you provide hands-on treatment?2015-07-22T08:09:59+10:00

Our practice has a rounded approach and our aim is to target your physical issue from all perspectives. We do perform hands-on treatment if this is what is indicated after having assessed your area of pain.

Do I need to bring a change of clothing?2015-07-21T20:10:25+10:00
A change of clothes is not required.  However, if you feel it will help with comfort and movement, please don’t hesitate to bring a different outfit.  We have shorts available to change into if needed, and towels for draping.
Can I use my private health fund card at your clinic?2017-08-30T22:58:21+10:00

Yes you can. We have a HICAPS terminal which will allow you to claim your entitled rebate on the spot. Depending on your current cover status with your private health fund there may be a gap to pay. If you are not sure of what your entitled rebate may be, please contact your private health fund to find out.

Please note:  Payment is required on the day service has been provided.  If for any reason your health fund declines your claim, you will be responsible for full payment of the service.  We will provide you a receipt, of which you can claim your rebate with your health fund either online or in person at a branch.

Do you accept payment by credit card?2015-07-22T08:02:58+10:00

Yes we do, however, there is a surcharge with use of all cards through our HICAPS terminal.

Do I need a referral from a Doctor or Specialist to see Livewell?2015-06-18T02:45:41+10:00

No, a referral is not required to see any of our physiotherapists.

Do you accept GP referrals under Medicare?2015-07-21T20:07:36+10:00
Yes we do.  Please notify reception at the time of booking.  Please also bring all paperwork with you including your GP’s contact details should we need to contact them for further information.
Do you treat people under WorkCover or Third Party Insurance?2017-08-30T22:58:21+10:00

Yes we do. Please notify reception at the time of booking if you intend to attend physiotherapy under WorkCover or Third Party Insurance.  We will need the following information: Your claim number; Insurance contacts including your Case Manager’s full name, phone number, email and postal address; Employer contacts including the full name of the person overseeing your case, phone number, email and postal address; Your Nominated Treating Doctor’s (NTD) contact details; And, contact details of any other health provider involved in your case such as a Specialist, Return To Work Co-ordinator, Ergonomist, Exercise Physiologist, etc.  Please also forward us any relevant documents you have including scans and reports.

Do you provide Clinical Pilates?2015-07-21T20:08:48+10:00
Yes we do.  At the moment Clinical Pilates is integrated into our treatments if this is what is indicated after having assessed your area of pain.
Do you provide Dry Needling & Western Acupuncture?2017-08-30T22:58:21+10:00

Yes we do. You will need to be assessed to determine whether if it will be a suitable form of treatment for the condition you have presented with.

Do you provide Ergonomic Assessments?2015-06-18T03:17:12+10:00

Yes we do. We can visit you at your office and conduct an assessment, maximise your workstation, and provide recommendations of any office equipment you may need to improve the ergonomics of your workstation.

Can I see a physiotherapist when I am pregnant?2015-06-18T03:18:59+10:00

Yes you can. Please notify reception at the time of booking, and let us know what stage of pregnancy you are at.

Do you have therapists who speak languages other than English?2015-06-18T03:16:28+10:00

Yes, we have a physiotherapist who also speaks Mandarin.

Do you have a cancellation policy?2015-06-18T03:02:45+10:00

Yes we have a 2 hour cancellation policy. This means if you need to reschedule or cancel your appointment, please call us at least 2 hours before your appointment time so you will not incur a cancellation fee charge. Cancellation fee charges also apply if you miss and do not present to your appointment.
